The Good Neighbour PT is the economics sibling of our cedar panel. Identical shadowbox layout — finished on both sides, same 4″ picket with 1″ reveal — but milled in ACQ-treated Southern Yellow Pine. The treatment is UC4A-rated for ground contact; the pickets themselves are UC3B.
Treated to a retention of 0.40 pcf with micronised copper and an azole co-biocide. Re-dried after treatment so panels ship at 19% MC — the same as our cedar. You won’t see the checking and shrinkage you get from yard-sold wet-treated stock.
Priced for landlords, property managers, and larger residential runs. At $89 per 6×8, the PT panel is the cheapest finished-both-sides shadowbox in Canada.
