Cedar raised garden beds in Toronto, built in Bolton.
Elevated cedar beds for a semi's side yard, a condo balcony or a rooftop, built in Bolton and shipped to your door.

What a Toronto yard asks of a raised bed.
Toronto gardening is a space problem before it is a soil problem. A semi in Leslieville or Roncesvalles has a side yard a few feet wide and a back garden shared with a garage; a condo on the waterfront has a balcony and a building manager with rules about weight. An elevated bed answers both: it stands on legs, so it goes where the sun is rather than where the ground is, and it comes off the floor if you move.
The lake runs the calendar. Environment Canada's 1991-2020 normals for the Toronto City station put the last spring frost around 11 April and the first fall frost around 6 November, about 208 frost-free days, while Pearson, inland and to the northwest, runs from 27 April to 20 October. Downtown and along the waterfront you can set out tomatoes in the second week of May and pick into November; in North York and Scarborough hold them until the Victoria Day weekend. The city is zone 7a on the 1991-2020 hardiness map, a full zone up from the 1961-1990 edition.
For a balcony, the numbers to check are the filled weight on the size page and your building's balcony rules, then the carton for the elevator. Narrow beds in 24 or 36 inches keep the weight down and leave the walkway. For a semi, a Wide 48 inch Deep bed fits across the end of most side yards and takes two rows of greens or a row of tomatoes with basil in front. Rooftops want the lightest sizes and a paver under each foot on the membrane.
Shipping to Toronto is included in the price, by courier, flat in one carton. Deliveries begin January 2027. Every Founding Batch order is delivered by 28 February 2027. Pickup at the shop in Bolton is welcome too.
