How contractors buy fence panels factory-direct.

Most trades assume that buying fence panels at manufacturer pricing means being a fence company — carrying an account, ordering by the truckload, knowing a rep. It doesn’t. We sell the same panels at the same published price to a homeowner doing one side of a backyard and to a contractor closing in a work area on a job site. If you can read a product page, you can buy factory-direct.

You also don’t have to install fence for a living to hang one. A recent order was twelve panels to a mechanical contractor — not a fence crew, a mechanical crew — who needed to screen a mechanical yard on one of their sites and decided to do it in-house rather than sub it out. That’s the point worth making plainly: building a fence from loose lumber is carpentry, but hanging a finished panel between two set posts is assembly. A crew that can set a post plumb can hang our panels.

The price is the price. Because we sell factory-direct, there’s no yard markup stacked in the middle and no padded list price that a ‘contractor discount’ is quietly measured against — the number on the product page is what a first-time buyer pays and what a repeat buyer pays. The honest flip side of that: we don’t run trade accounts or net-30 terms, so it’s pay on order, not an invoice thirty days later.

There are two ways to take delivery. You can pick up factory-direct at the shop in Bolton, which suits a crew already running a truck through the GTA. Or we deliver to site within about 100 kilometres — $300 for a load of up to forty panels — which for most jobs is the cheaper answer once you price out an hour of a crew’s time plus the truck to go fetch them. Delivered panels arrive staged, so the fence is waiting on the crew instead of the crew waiting on the fence.

For standard runs there’s no quote to chase. The catalogue is priced, so a repeat order is a few minutes online — pick the panel, pick the count, pay — with no rep to reach and no back-and-forth over a number we’ve already published. On the runs where budget decides everything, the contractor-grade Heritage Diagonal NS-215 is the one to look at: a lattice-top diagonal built to a price for perimeter and rough-grade work, not the panel you’d put on a street-facing front line.

The one time it’s worth a phone call is a genuinely large run, where we’ll put a bulk quote together rather than have you add forty panels to a cart one at a time. Otherwise the whole idea is that you don’t need us in the loop to buy well. The trade side is laid out on the trade lane, and every panel with its price sits on /products. Come by the shop in Bolton if you want to stand a panel up before you order a stack of them.
