Collection · Pressure-Treated Lumber & Posts

Fencing lumber by the piece — priced below the big box.

The premium brown pressure-treated stock we build our own panels from — kiln-dried so it stays straight, with the brown colour built into the treatment. Sold by the piece: 2×4 framing, 1×6 fence boards, 4×4 and 6×6 posts, lattice and nailing strips — priced below the big box’s premium board.

Premium vs. standard

Same size board. Two grades. Buy the one that stays put.

Every pressure-treated board looks the same in the rack. What separates a premium board from a commodity one is moisture and colour: ours is kiln-dried with the brown built in, so it goes up straight and finished and stays that way. Here’s the difference line by line — and why the useful price comparison is premium against premium, not against a cheap green board.

Fencing lumber — questions

What fencers ask before they buy.

What lumber do I need to build a wood fence?
The frame is 2×4 rails, the pickets are 1×6 fence boards, and the posts are 4×4 — or 6×6 for gate and corner posts. Lattice tops and nailing strips finish it off. We sell every one of these as premium brown pressure-treated fencing lumber by the piece, so you buy exactly what the run needs.
How much is a pressure-treated fence board?
Our premium brown 1×6 fence board is $3.79 each for the 6 ft and $3.19 for the 5 ft — kiln-dried, above-ground rated, and priced below the big box’s premium board. Every SKU’s per-piece price is published on the product cards above.
Do you sell fence lumber by the piece?
Yes — one board or a thousand, priced per piece, with no membership and no bulk-only minimum. Pick it up factory-direct at our Bolton yard; call 647-569-2163 for a bulk quote on a full run.
What size posts do I need for a 6-foot fence?
A standard 6 ft fence uses 4×4 posts, usually 8 ft long — roughly 48 inches in the ground for Ontario frost depth, with 6 ft above grade. Use 6×6 posts for gates and corners, and a 10 ft length for taller fences or deeper footings. We stock 4×4 and 6×6 in both 8 ft and 10 ft.
Where can fence contractors buy fencing lumber in the GTA?
Factory-direct from our Bolton yard — priced below the big boxes, sold by the piece, no account required. Contractors, landscapers and fence crews order online or call 647-569-2163 for a bulk quote. We serve Caledon, Brampton, Vaughan, Toronto, Mississauga and across the Greater Toronto Area.
Is your pressure-treated fencing lumber kiln-dried?
The 1×6 fence boards and 2×4 rails are premium, kiln-dried and above-ground rated — drier, straighter and more dimensionally stable than wet green lumber, so a fence built from them stays put. The 4×4 and 6×6 posts are ground-contact rated for in-ground use.
How we think about this collection
01
Premium grade, not commodity

Kiln-dried, above-ground rated, with a built-in brown colour — the boards come off the pile drier, lighter and straighter, and they hold their shape instead of cupping and twisting like a wet green board. It’s the same stock we pick through for our own panels.

02
Below the big box’s premium

The big boxes sell a premium kiln-dried board too — that’s the honest thing to compare against ours, not their cheapest green board. Premium for premium, we come in under, because we sell factory-direct from one Bolton yard instead of a national supply chain.
