Western Red Cedar, five signature styles — privacy, lattice and shadowbox.
Western Red Cedar in five styles — solid privacy, diagonal lattice in two grades, square lattice, and the good-neighbour shadowbox. The premium species for the fence everybody sees.
Same panel. Two materials. Pick the one that fits the job.
Good Neighbour is cedar by default. For a pressure-treated shadowbox, the stocked Pressure-Treated Lattice Top carries the same both-sides-finished pattern with a diagonal lattice crown — cedar for appearance and longevity; pressure-treated for the jobs where budget matters more than species.
Privacy is the brief? The solid tongue-and-groove face has no gaps and no sight lines. Want light over the top? The lattice panels keep privacy below and air above — diagonal for the classic look, square for a modern grid. Shared property line? The Good Neighbour shadowbox reads finished from both yards.
Cedar is naturally rot- and insect-resistant and ages to a silver-grey without losing structural integrity — no treatment chemicals, and staining is optional. It's the species you pay a premium for because it looks the part for decades. Budget-led run instead? The same shadowbox pattern comes in brown pressure-treated.
6 ft × 8 ft standard, hanging between 8 ft posts at 96″ on centre — every NorthStar line shares the layout, so styles mix on one run. 4 ft and 5 ft heights, matching gates and custom sizes on request.
