Pressure-Treated Lattice Top
Shadowbox below, diagonal lattice above — finished both sides.
Pressure-Treated Lattice Top, built in Bolton.
Why we built it this way.
The good-neighbour build in brown pressure-treated: boards alternate from side to side of the rail — the shadow box pattern — so the panel is finished on both faces and neither yard gets the bad side. A diagonal lattice crown keeps the top line light, and the top rail runs the full width of the panel, end to end.
Honest about what shadowbox is: semi-privacy, not a solid wall. Straight on it reads private; at a sharp angle there’s a narrow sight line, and the staggered gaps bleed wind instead of catching it. If the job needs zero sight lines, that’s our Pressure-Treated Privacy panel.
The brown colour is built into the treatment — no staining needed, and if you stain anyway, wait four to six weeks for the wood to dry down first. Fasten with hot-dipped galvanised or stainless hardware and coat any cut ends. 100% Canadian-made. Matching gates and custom heights and sizes on request.
